Welcome to the new school year!!!
Welcome to Prekindergarten! This is a very exciting time for you and your child and we look forward to making this year a great school experience.
To introduce ourselves, Carol is a graduate of East Carolina University and a native of Virginia Beach. Shamaine, a native of Charleston, South Carolina is a graduate of Norfolk State University. We believe you have chosen an excellent program and one that will be the beginning of a very successful school experience. Your child will be introduced to exciting and new information with an emphasis on fun. Our daily schedule, including special activities, is posted in the classroom and is included in this mailing. The children will participate in Spanish, Library, Physical Education, Music and Computers. All assignments will be posted weekly on the website describing the activities that your child will participate in and we would also encourage you to follow our class blog at http://msparkersprekindergartenclass.blogspot.com/. It is our belief that good communication is extremely important. Please take a minute each day to review your child’s activities. This review of information may help open your child’s memory about our daily schedule.
We look forward to meeting you at Parents’ “Back to School” Night on Tuesday, September 7th and sharing our Prekindergarten Program with you! We know this will be an incredible school year!
